Since the water temperature in the Oslofjord most of the year is below 15C, we decided to buy dry suits so that we could paddle kayak not only in the summer season. Here we are testing our dry suits and admiring artwork in the Oslofjord (just outside the national opera).
With Micha out of town, I had to fill the evening with some kind of activity. Surprisingly enough, I chose not the TV or PC, but swung my butt onto my bike and rode for an hour or so. Not very exciting news, but I’m really proud of myself, so I just wanted to post a note to tell that. I see people bragging about all kinds of bodily activities on the Facebook, but I chose to brag in a more subtile matter.
By the way, is there anybody out there (friends, aquaintances, strangers) who stops by this blog every now and then? Just wondering, if I’ll keep it up or not…

X-mas was celebrated together with the Aadland-family. We left Samnanger on Wednesday, drove across Hardangervidda in perfect winter weather. And then we welcomed the new year together with friends in Oslo.

Happy New Year!
I’m so proud to present our newest garden project. For some time now, it’s been looking real ugly in the lower parts of our property, but today we (i.e. Michael) managed to get done with this wall. Now it’s time for me to look for lovely plants to fill this flower-bed.
Finally, after a lot of technical struggle with my computer, I am able to present the photos of the good work:
