I hereby proudly present my last purchase – a Whisky 16 from the Swedish kayak producer Point65. As I wrote earlier this week, we were looking for kayaks. On Wednesday the decision fell and our bank account suffered a serious decrease, but we are so happy and really satisfied with our choice of kayak. I’ve got a white one, Michael a red one. Here are some photos from our first evening paddle tour on the Oslofjord:
Now we need to buy a waterproof digi-cam, so that we can make lots of photos from our coming sea kayak trips. Today we rounded a couple of islands in the crowded Oslofjord. Amazing how many people put their tents up on these islands and seem to camp there for the weekend or even the whole summer. Since we’ve had splendid weather and great temperatures here the last two weeks, almost all Oslo inhabitants crawl out of their flats and take a boat trip to the islands nearby the city center.
